PRIVACY POLICY

Your water data stays yours.

Wootah is built to work without accounts, ads, analytics, or third-party tracking. This policy explains what happens to the data you create while using the app.

Last updated: August 29, 2026

Information we collect

None. Wootah does not require an account, and we (RVD Systems LLC) do not collect, receive, store, or have access to any of your data. There is no sign-in, no analytics SDK, no advertising, and no third-party trackers in the app.

Data you create stays on your device

The hydration events you log (water breaks and any optional amounts) and your preferences (reminder schedule, units, bottle size) are stored locally on your device using Apple’s on-device storage. This information never leaves your devices to reach us or any third party.

iPhone & Apple Watch sync

If you use Wootah on both your iPhone and a paired Apple Watch, your logs and settings are synchronized directly between your own devices using Apple’s WatchConnectivity framework. This device-to-device transfer is handled by iOS/watchOS and is not routed through our servers — we operate no servers and receive nothing.

Notifications

With your permission, Wootah schedules local notifications on your device to remind you to drink water. These reminders are generated on-device and are not sent from, or logged by, any external service.

Children’s privacy

Wootah does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page.
